Drofaels ku Dokseni, King of the Mountains
figured it was about time I started on the Legendary Six, so here's the progress on the first of 'em. Also, I was stuck for ideas for my brother's birthday, and this is one of his best and favourite characters, so:

...I realise I probably ought to have taken some pics at an earlier stage, unfortunately I got a bit carried away in the hectickery of trying to get the big lad made on time, so no such luck; nevertheless, here he is at the stage he was at when he was this far along:

...of course, Drofaels being 'one of the Six' will mean absolutely nothing to you at the moment, but just wait til I/we get 'round to writing the book of the film, 'cause then it'll all be so much clearer.
- well, a bit.
Meanwhile, here he is again, coming along quite nicely and all that, although unfortunately of course he decided it would be a good idea to take me too long to get him finished in time for the birthday-deadline, hohum... so I ended up having to get a quick pretend-prezzy in to keep big bruv from the doldrums, a not-too-bad-actually replica of the Bride's sword from Kill Bill, ifya really must know.

couple of detail-shots here, showing the sword and the belty-area: the sword is a shaped piece of perspex, with the hand, handle, and crossguard variously made of milliput, greenstuff, armature wire and more perspex; the belt incorporates mostly milliput and greenstuff, with some of the dangly-bits backed up in plasticard.

a bit more moomoo, here he is at the ready-for-painting stage, primed and ready for the touch of the brush...
